Join us for an intimate evening of stripped-down, soul-baring performances from four incredible singer-songwriters, each bringing their unique voice, vulnerability, and sound to the stage.
BUGGY JIVE is a semi-reclusive acoustic soul rock singer-songwriter from Albany, New York, equal parts Zeppelin and D’Angelo and Prince and Joni in sound and sensibility. Recent accomplishments include opening slots for Macy Gray and Ben Folds; a feature as a “Top Shelf” entry for NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest; and best songwriter, album and music video wins for Upstate New York’s “Eddies” Awards
CHLOE CANNON is a Hudson Valley-based musician and singer-songwriter. Her sound has been described as “where Mazzy Star meets Bonnie Raitt meets Alanis Morissette.” While her main musical focus is currently folk/acoustic rock, she has musical experience in a multitude of other genres: including but not limited to Jazz, Bluegrass, Soul, Musical Theatre, and Classic Rock: all of which inspire her unique writing style. Chloe has been fortunate enough to perform alongside the likes of blues legend Brian Mitchell, guitarist Tony Bruno, and founding member of the Felice Brothers, Greg Farley. Most recently she has been writing, recording, and performing with local bluegrass-inspired folk band Bluestone Quarry, as well as becoming a founding member of the Joni Mitchell-inspired supergroup, Ladies of the Valley.
The Brooklyn-based singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist DYLAN DUNLAP developed a love for music at a very young age. At age 6, he taught himself piano to partake in a grade school talent show. At age 11, he picked up a copy of Pro Tools and crafted instrumental compositions “like time capsules.” As a teen, Dylan left the prestigious Berklee College of Music to get a head start on his music career and started busking in his hometown of Burbank, CA. On top of his artist pursuits, Dylan has put in countless hours of work to raise awareness around mental health. In this mission, Dylan received the "Fighting Stigma Rising Star" award from the National Alliance on Mental Illness and has partnered with Global Citizen, Autism Rocks, LA’s Children Hospital and many other organizations.
Performing solo or with collaborators, their live sets are candid, lyrical, and open-hearted.
