“This Will Never Be On the Radio” is the first single from the forthcoming album Icarus Ascending.

It’s a tongue-in-cheek funky folk rocker with a Bonham beat, as if Bill Withers got in an argument with Led Zeppelin.

The stream of consciousness lyrics meditate on the idea of resisting the business and marketing side of making music. (Irony duly noted. I mean, this very page is marketing AF, right? Ahem.)

“Radio” and the B-side “When the Thang Ain’t Enough” will be available on the streamers Friday, Aug. 15.
